Find Peace in Pages: An illustration portrays a woman in her mid-thirties, lounging on her bed, absorbed in the world of the book she reads, while a black cat naps at her feet. An open book makes up the cosy corner of the woman’s bedroom. Just like the walls, it hosts many windows looking out at a sky dotted with fluffy clouds, kissed by the setting sun. A second cat perches on the windowsill, gazing at the serene vista.
"A house without books is like a room without windows," wrote Heinrich Mann — and this greeting card design takes him at his word. The reader's cosy bedroom corner is built from an open book, its walls dotted with windows onto a soft evening sky: books, quite literally, as the windows of a home.
